We learned earlier this year (2024) that our categories were no longer a part of the Times News Readers Choice Awards. However, we continue to encourage each of you to vote and support our local businesses! #REPRESENTTHECITY

Our Blue Devils take aim at another regional playoff bid and Mountain 7 District title with an experienced lineup that features several from last year's team.
After fielding a team with no seniors last season, our Lady Devils look to continue their improvement and carry over their momentum from last year's VHSL Region 2D Tournament appearance.

About Us
Joe Carter
Joe was the founder and a part of Gate City Sports Radio since the winter of 2013, and official launch in 2014. Starting as a producer, creative content writer, and on-air host of the Gate City Pre and Post Game Shows, he continues to be creative producer, on-air host for LIVE broadcasts, and oversees the social media outlets for GCSR. Joe also serves in the role as executive and sales director.
Chris Carr
Back for his 6th year with GCSR, Chris has become an integral part of each broadcast by serving as lead color analyst, statistical research director, and oversees analytics.
